Problem With Farsi Pages
Hi,
I've downloaded and installed SymbioTeam Lite. It's quite good.
The problem is titles of my pages and texts on them are in Farsi language. I created a test for login. In the steps description generated, page titles and button texts are replaced with question marks (e.g. Set active Web page to ????? ???? ?????), but the texts which I chose to verify (also in Farsi) are correct.
So the step 'Set active ...' fails.
Is there something to cofigure or anything I can do to use this software?
Thanks

Currently, SymbioTeam only partially support the Unicode character set. However, we keep constantly improving our product and will extend the Unicode coverage in future releases.
For now, you can try to solve your issue by making the following adjustments to your Regional and Language Options in the Windows Control Panel:
1. In Regional and Language Options window select the Regional Options tab and locate the desired language in the drop-down list of available languages.
2. Go to the Advanced tab and select the language you need in the drop-down list of languages available for matching with non-Unicode programs.
3. In the Code page conversion tables mark all options related to the just selected language. When finished, click the OK button.
Even though the method described above may solve your problem, it is not equally effective for all languages, therefore, does not guarantee you success.

I made the settings you mentioned. Now the step descriptions are all in Farsi and correct and Farsi buttons get clicked, but there are still some issues:
- navigation to a page with Farsi title fails with message: Failed (Web browser was not found)
- entering Farsi texts in text boxes succeeds without entering anything in the text box.
- verifying existence of Farsi texts succeeds regardless of existence of the text in the page.
Thanks for the guidance
